Mater's Pizza & Pasta Emporium opened in Gadsden, AL in 1978 and has been a family favorite ever since. We make our own dough, blend our cheeses, and serve some of the biggest, best pizzas you will ever eat. 

Along with our signature pizzas, we offer pasta, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, a nice selection of beer, and a variety of wines by the glass and by the bottle. Our Fort Payne location has a full bar.

Mater's of Gadsden is located in historic downtown Gadsden on the corner of Fourth and Locust Street.  The restaurant opened in 1978 as a small pizza and pasta restaurant and has grown to occupy half a city block. 

Our Gadsden location features a game room, TV's throughout the restaurant, sidewalk dining when weather permits, and free Wi-Fi.

Mater's of Albertville began serving our iconic pizza in downtown Albertville in 2013.  Located in one of the former Hammer's buildings, this location features rustic hardwoods, industrial decor, soft lighting, an open floor plan, and spacious seating.

It is a great spot for date night, a family outing, a celebration with friends, or a relaxing night catching the game at the bar.

Mater's of Fort Payne opened in downtown Fort Payne in April of 2023. The building has been beautifully renovated and now features a state-of-the-art kitchen, unique architectural details, and an inviting atmosphere created with the help of local craftsmen.

This location includes two stages with lighting and sound equipment for live music, a spacious patio area with garage doors, a full bar with liquor, beer, and wine, and a convenient pick-up window for on-line orders.
